“We threw Sam and his team a lot of curve balls when it came to building our house. The plans combined Japanese architecture as well as elements to suit the Australian climate. On top of this, a separate studio was also included that required industry-level acoustic design as one of us is a professional sound engineer. This all meant that there were many combinations of different building materials and unusual features – from strawbale walls to a tailor-made extraction system. We had a strict budget that was reasonable, but not overly generous.

From start to finish, Sam, Laura and the team met every challenge. They finished on time and on budget with incredible patience and good-humour. We were called in every few weeks to view the progress and make on-the-spot design decisions. This made a huge difference to improving the look and quality of our home. I can honestly say that the entire process was pretty much stress-free and even enjoyable. We are incredibly happy with our house – it has exceeded our expectations. Many, many thanks!”
