We are a Family Business
Sam started his apprenticeship in 2002 after finishing Year 12 with his father Barry in the family business. After completing his apprenticeship and working as a sole trader, Sam and Laura started their own business Samura Constructions Pty Ltd which Ballan Builders now operates under.
When we started the business in 2009 we had one apprentice we now have three apprentices, two fully qualified carpenters, one cabinet maker, Laura as the business manager and Sam, registered builder, runs the construction and deals one on one with the clients.
Our Hands-on Approach
Our business is very much a hands on family business. From time to time our girls are attending a job site to see what dad and the team are up to on site, helping mum with the office duties including laminating plans, shredding paper or helping with the filing. Away from our Business, we enjoy watching the Western Bulldogs play, entertaining friends and family and enjoying the wonderful surroundings of our area.
